...Originally organized as a alpine ski only club, the Huntsville Ski Club has evolved to a year round social and recreational club, with approximately 300 members dedicated to having fun...skiing AND many other life activities. 
...Skiing: The club has a rich tradition - originally organized in 1963 and incorporated in 1965, we plan and provides 4-7 ski trips per year to the local region, Rockies, Canada and Europe.
... Recreation: HSC is active!
...Tennis: HSC is active! ...with tennis play every Saturday morning; and...
...Hiking: On Sunday afternoons - the club has even hiked the Grand Canyon.
...Biking: There is biking twice a week for those that enjoy a faster pace.
...Water Sports: We plan and organize one or two canoeing and kayaking trips per year to the rivers in the region; and,
...Bowling: The club has an annual bowling outing (gutter guards in place – just for fun...
...Travel: The club plans trips to the Destin, Florida area for Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends; and, a Fall Colors trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
...Social: We have a Super Bowl Party, a Chinese New Years Party, a 4th of July Party, and many backyard cookouts. Some cookouts include live music, water sports and just good conversation. We have an Annual Membership Party and Dance with great live music. But, ...our gala social event is the Annual Christmas Dinner Dance with fantastic music to listen and dance to; a must do.
